Welcome to
My Counselling Practice

I’m a Psychodynamic Counsellor and I have in-depth experience of working with adults who have experienced bereavement, depression, anxiety, poor mental health, personality disorders or other complex life difficulties or simply ask the question who am I or what is my life direction?

In my work I aim to meet as wide a group of clients as possible including those who do not speak English as their first language. For the same reason I undertake continuous training in professional development.

I am Psychodynamically trained but over the years I have found it helpful to combine the Psychodynamic with the Person Centred approach. My work as a counsellor is to get to know you and to build a good relationship, creating a safe space for you as the client to be able to work together on exploring whatever might concern you and being able to relate to things from a different perspective. Hopefully this will enable us to find the best way forward for you.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I have regular supervision.

Welcome to My Website
and to my Counselling Practice

This may be a first stage on a journey of self-discovery or of relating to different aspects of life in a somewhat different way.

Living in our fast Western World may at times be overwhelming and hectic and from time to time we may all loose a sense of self or our direction and place in life.

Taking the first steps in therapy might bring a new phase and a unique working relationship which can provide us with a type of support and a reflection which we often lack or miss. In a peaceful and supportive space.

I work with adults on face-to-face basis.

In the first session we explore what brought you to counselling, your hopes and expectations . It is a time to ask questions you may have and for me to explain how I work.

I understand that the first meeting could be an anxious occasion, therefore you would be welcome to contact me again with any further questions afterwards.

We start to work together when you feel ready.
-
As a counsellor I try to create calm non-judgmental space were you feel relaxed and free to speak of whatever concerns you may have and may impact upon yours you inner and outer world .We shall look at your past experiences right up to your present life while focusing on you as the client and trying to relate to the World in different ways.
About Me

I started my academic education with an undergraduate degree in Psychology at Metropolitan University and now am working as a part of multi- disciplinary professional group providing eservices for adults with severe learning disabilities.

I then extended my academic education by completing master degree in Psychodynamic Counselling at the Goldsmiths University. While training to be counsellor I volunteered for a number of charity organisations including bereavement, women’s organisations and a service providing counselling for ethnic minorities.

A significant interest for me as a counsellor lies in bereavement work and much of my training and experience is in mental health and personality disorders, however my aim is to meet the needs of as wide as possible group of clients. I have worked with a wide diversity of clients including those whose first language is not English. It is also my aim to continuously progress and develop my skills to be able to work with new groups of clients. I welcome anyone who needs support and time to reflect.

Since having completed my degree at Goldsmiths I have undertaken many other training courses eg. CBT and Mental Health Training, Bereavement Counselling, Trauma Treatments, LGBT and identity, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and EMDR technique.
I am a registered member of the BACP and I adhere to their ethical framework.

I also have regular supervision.
Feedback from Former clients

Natasha has been a great support with helping heal my trauma. It had not been an easy journey, but was able to reach a point of ease. She gave me the tools to help me through my panic moments or even my unexplained reactions which come from accumulated trauma, in which I am happy to say I have absolutely seen absolute progress and difference in myself. It takes times, it takes effort and requires patience. Accumulated trauma, in which I am happy to say I have absolutely seen absolute progress and difference in myself. Natasha helped me at a critical moment in my life after my mom passed away and there was a lot of family crises and betrayals. I asked her to help me navigate and get myself back on track with my life and she delivered exactly that. I'm so glad and grateful for Natasha's expertise and solid support
and recommendations as well as for BetterHelp crew. I was pleasantly surprised also for the free group sessions as well. Thank you for everyone's professionalism and warm support. Gratefully from Seoul.

Natasha is the best therapist I have worked with. She asks the right questions and very quickly understood who I was and what I was looking for. During the sessions she gives great advice and recommends very useful tools or exercises to feel better. She is truly invested in her work as a therapist and it really shows!

It’s difficult to know where to start with my review Natasha as there is so much I would like to say about how she has supported and guided me through what I can only describe as the most difficult period of my life. I am in awe of how she has opened my eyes to new and alternative perspectives.

She has listened intently and encouraged me to look out of myself and my current mindset to find fresh and plausible angles on situations, behaviours, relationships and feelings. She is thought provoking and has proved non judgemental, empathic, caring and good humoured. A particular incident occurred whilst in therapy, in which I will forever feel thankful and grateful to have had her in my life. She has authentically shown herself to be a true professional and an excellent therapist. Thank you, Natasha. I look forward to future sessions and building our therapeutic relationship.

Natasza is an absolutely wonderful counsellor. I have tried counselling a few times and always felt I needed someone more direct, that asks the right (sometimes difficult) questions and is skilled and empathetic enough to work through them effectively. Natasza is exactly that. I have really benefited from our sessions so far and would recommend her to questions and is skilled and empathetic enough to work through them effectively. Natasza is exactly that. I have really benefited from our sessions so far and would recommend her to anyone!

Natasha has been brilliant with helping me process the trauma of a difficult birth. She is very easy to open up to and has given me brilliant practical advice that I can take away and work on. I’ve seen such an improvement in the time I’ve been working with her, and can’t thank her enough!

I've been having sessions with Natasha for the last few months and she's really helped me. She really listens to you and gives great insights into the links between my reactions now and things that have happened in the past which have helped me challenge some of that behaviour. She's also just such a friendly person and is always able to lighten the mood when you need it.

I'd been struggling with anxiety and overthinking, but she really helped me find good ways to pause and rationalise my thinking! It's been really helpful to re-work my thought process with her :). I've improved a lot I think and I use the things we've been working on every day!

Dear Natasha

I can’t thank you enough for taking me through this bewildering and intense year. I literally could not have done it without you! I am very glad we were matched by Lewisham Bereavement, they seemed to pick a perfect fit!

While we have spent the year talking about me I would like to take the opportunity to wish you happiness in everything YOU do.
Thank you again and again
Love Carol x

Natasha is a lovely empathetic person who helped me through some very emotional times. I would really recommend her as someone to confide in and listen and try to help in many ways. Do contact her if you are straggling with life, as so many of us are.
